Frequently Asked Questions

Below is an example of some of the questions often asked by the general public.  If your query is not mentioned here, please feel free to get in touch today

How many dogs do you walk at a time?

Good question but we tend to walk dogs in the London Borough of Wandsworth where the maximum allowed per dog walker is 4 at any one time

Which dog breeds/types of dogs are you most experienced in handling?

Top of the list are without a doubt poodle crosses, mainly Cockapoos, Jackapoos (I'm a proud owner of a Jackapoo myself) and Cavapoos.  I've also worked with quite a few different types of Terriers, Dachshunds, Chihuahuas, Spaniels, Labradors, Shih Tzus, a Lhasa Apso and flat muzzled breeds, such as French Bulldogs and pugs.

Where do you usually walk the dogs?

Unlike some dog walkers who tend to stick with going to the same park every day, we go to a few different places such as Tooting Common, Wandsworth Common, and Mitcham Common.  Occasionally we'll go to Morden Hall Park and Battersea Park.  We believe variety is key and having a few different stomping grounds to venture around keep the dogs stimulated.

How do you accept payments?

Accepted methods of payments are bank transfers or cash.  Unfortunately we cannot accept cheques.

When do I need to pay you?

Regular clients - payments are due weekly by the end of each working week (Friday) or on the final working day of that week.

Ad hoc/one off clients - full payment must be received prior to the service commencing

What is your cancellation policy?

The following cancellation fees will apply:-

More than 14 days notice - no fee

Between 14 days and 24 hours notice - 50% fee payable

Less than 24 hours notice - full fee payable

Cancellation charges will be based on an average of your previous 4 weeks of service

My circumstances have changed and I don't need your services any more.  How much notice do I need to give you?

We understand that circumstances change, and will therefore require 14 days notice in writing for a termination of services.  Should you not need the service for those 14 days, this will incur a cancellation fee of 50%, which is, as mentioned above, based on an average of your previous 4 weeks of service.
